Abstract

|
A case of 23-year old woman with endodermal sinus tumor (EST) is presented. EST is an exceedingly virulent ovarian germ cell tumor, and occurs in young women with other germ cell tumors, EST characteristically produce α-fetoprotein (AFP), which
serves
as a useful tumor marker. We treated this patient with surgery and combination chemotherapy, and present it with brief review of the literatures.
